As we transition into the weekend, I find myself reflecting on the moments that shape our lives, including recent adventures across the ocean. After an extensive trip to Sevilla, I returned home with not just souvenirs, but a plethora of cherished memories, particularly from my time exploring Spain with my daughters.
Solo parenting during almost the entire journey proved to be both a challenge and a rewarding experience. Traveling alone with the girls, we navigated through the vibrant streets of Barcelona, indulging in the local cuisine, made lifelong memories on a Disney cruise, and ultimately settled into the beautiful culture of Sevilla for over four weeks. The Pilot joined us for the last part of our adventure, but the bulk of the exploration was just the three of us—a true test of patience, resilience, and family bonding.
